Celedon..I suppose you would think of this color as a stalk of celery. I remember when this color was all the rage for carpet and wall color back in the 80's. I didnt care for it, and can recall one of my neighbors so excited that she got "Celery" green carpet and when was 'I" going to get the "In" color? Uhh, yah, right, know what I did instead? I found a fabulous peachy/pink "Flamingo" color of carpet and had it throughout my house, turning my nose up to the faded green color. Although, when I think about it now, WHAT the heck was I thinking with a plush color and 2 toddlers! But, all the same, it was beautiful, different, and a great contrast with the sponge painted walls... and was really, really bright! Now that I have aged myself for all of you, I will go so far as to say thank goodness "Seafoam" green took the place of celery a few years down the road.
Which leads me to the 36th week of our
COLOR CHALLENGE. Celedon was not an easy color to find for me. I had nothing in my inventory and SL Marketplace was about as limited as my sl closet. I settled for a light mint, and found a background picture that said celedon. The lingerie and background matched, and hey, that was all that mattered. =)
